In Brief
I have a B.A. in Journalism & Communication from the UO, but these days jobs in the field are scarce since everyone with a blog is a "journalist." I am currently studying computer programming at LCC, learning how to design and build elegant web programs with clean architecture and data.

Experience
I've worked in many fields, from the oilfields of Louisiana to the copy desk at The Oregonian. In the past few years, I have:
- Managed caseload of 29 youth involved with juvenile justice system, providing assistance with training, career pathways, and job search
- Interviewed hundreds of at-risk youth for a summer jobs program
- Developed intranet tutorial for a GMAC call center
- Presented lectures to university classes of up to 100 students on academic topics
- Led weekly discussion sessions with 10-15 students
- Managed two political science distance education courses
- Developed position papers, white paper, advertisements for successful State Representative campaign
- Raised over $40,000 for statewide political campaign; assisted candidate prepare and market message
